First of all thank for the follow. I am returning the favor. I couldn't help but notice that you use the Nikon 810 and the crisp sharp focus of your images. While this is still a majestic image of the lion I noticed some grain or noise. Were you shooting through glass or other material?
@skipt07 Thank for the follow Skip! Love your photos!. Yes this is not my favorite prize photo of a lion even though I love his pose. Got my D810 a few weeks ago and it was one of my first few days of using it. I was shooting through glass that was in dire need of Windex. I'm thinking maybe my ISO was up too high right then. Don't remember. Also I'm still learning this camera. It's does have different features than my D90. Still love my D90.
@joysfocus - Thank you for responding to my question. We have a Living Treasures near our home and I have run into the dirty window problem as well. I looked at the Exif for this and your ISO was 12800 which is pretty high. I am close to up grading my camera as well so I have a Canon and they have a sale going on, I am about to experience what your are and that is getting acquainted to the differences and becoming comfortable with the new one.
