Amazing - I had almost the same opportunity today. All I was missing was....my camera! My klutzy doves have returned to bear some young and papa didn't like me watering the back yard. He stood off a distance in a tree and I was hoping he would stay until I could run in and grab the camera. Well, you can predict how that went. Glad you got yours! The lighting, detail and colors are superb!
Hey, I know that character....we have a pair of them nesting in our backyard, doing shifts sitting on the eggs!! We call them Precious, and hoping they will hatch soon so that I can photograph their little hungry beaks waiting for mom and dad to return with some grub!! FAV!! :-))
