The Lunenburg Academy, built between 1893-1895, is a massive, three-story wooden Victorian building in the eclectic tradition, boldly painted in red, black and white in the town of Lunenburg, NS. Louise (@Weezilou) was able to get permission for us to tour this beautiful old building and take photos inside.
Wonderful image! I love this building especially the way it sits on the hill above the town and is one of the first buildings you see as you arrive in Lunenburg. Lucky you to be able to see inside! Louise @weezilou the miracle worker! Lol!
Another beautiful image!!! We drove our current house guests up there before going to the Fisheries Museum restaurant for dinner (the latter, nothing to rave about..) They couldn't stop raving, and they're set up to attend some concerts there while in town. Do you suppose they'll have fun? ♥
