Nice one. My husband doesn't want to visit SF anymore because of all the homeless and car break-ins. Such a shame.
We were assaulted once when visiting with the grand boys when a homeless man had a psychotic outburst and spit his coffee on us while on the pier at Boudins. One of our grandson was so upset over it.
@gardenfolk Thank you CC. We had a great time. And actually had lunch at Boudins. No drama going on and I'm glad I wasn't driving. Too many people, but of course it was Saturday. Yes the crime is bad in some areas. My brother told me some people now roll down all their car windows at night to prevent idiots from breaking a window.
@gardenfolk You're not working for a travel agency, are you?! Joy, I'm glad for you (and relieved) that you had a good time, but I'm with Cathee on this one! We spent our 14th anniversary there and went all out, but even then, there are homeless in the square in front of the hotel. I've read so many disturbing news stories in the years since, I wouldn't go back. (We have a Boudins in a mall down here, but if I can get my act together, I want to make my own sourdough starter!)
