There was Black Lives Matter, Stop the Bill protest in town yesterday- social distancing was considerably better than around the rest of the town which was rammed. It’s rather odd as normally we get hoarded of overseas tourists on King’s Parade and in front of Trinity and on the river but the rest of the town (market and shops further back from the river) are pretty manageable. Now everywhere is busy despite a wider car ban - I’m thinking that opening indoor eating might actually help matters. Anyway we masked up, whipped round M&S and headed back home.
Weather: lovely day for a cycle ride
Covid: dose 2 of Pfizer is wiping me out - we’re all essentially one big trial for a 12 week dose gap and I’m predicting big immune responses!
Good thing: left our bikes on the edge of town. I was awake enough in the morning to organise a last minute social in the garden.
Good to see orderly (and safe) protests. Sorry about that second dose. Apparently that is very common, I feel fortunate to have not had any symptoms other than a mildly sore arm for a day. Hope you feel better soon!
