I wandered down the garden with the camera this evening to take some action shots of Nigel building the hen coop - which is looking very nice - but the pics weren't great so I resigned myself to failure today. While gazing around in a depressed state ;0) I spotted this weed scrambling over the compost heap. It puts out great curly tendrils (though I think it may be poisonous) so I took a few shots just to see what they would look like. I'd like more tendrils in focus but quite liked this given that my camera was on the floor in a corner and I had to shoot blind.
Thanks very much for all your comments and I hope you're not suffering 'inspiration loss' as I am at the moment!!
A great nature shot. Love the green, the lighting, the bokeh in the background and of course these little curly feelers. Doesn't look uninspired to me!
Lovely shot and it just goes to show!! We take so much for granted and hardly see what it right in front of us, well done for spotting these and giving me some inspiration! :-)))
@peggysirk@ottery09 Yes - real chickens that lay eggs I hope (if Monty doesn't scare them permanently off laying) - we still have some painting and fox-proofing to do but then we are getting a Cambridge Blue, a White Sussex and probably a brown one of some sort - unless the chicken lady says we can't mix those together successfully or I decide that they won't co-ordinate with my nice damson and willow green paint scheme!!
must be something in the air -I'm definitely at inspiration loss and getting frustrated by having ideas but not being able to use Photoshop still (can you lend me your son for a day or 2 ??? LOL) I thhink if it continues for me, I'm going to start the alphabet challenge!
love the greens in this and the light - nice one....you'll have hens and eggs to photograph soon cool!

How exciting, looking fwd to some photos. The paint scheme is important for sure, I know someone who chose her dog to go with her carpet.
Nooo, she was choosing between a lab and a retriever, think she got the lab!
