Huge thanks for all the wonderful feedback on yesterday's shot - I really wasn't sure if I'd ruined it so it's just great to have such nice comments.
Today it's not the most exciting shot I've posted from the photographic point of view but I had to include it in my 365 because I adore this trumpeter. I first saw him in Cambridge about 3 years ago when he must have been about fourteen or fifteen and was a stunning musician even then. He played with a group of older men - they look Romany and I know some Romany families have a very strong musical tradition. He has amazing natural musicality and was playing some seriously good improvised jazz today. I'm sure the accordian player is good too but he is a bit drowned out by the trumpet. I wish Adam would practise his trumpet but with all the will in the world he'll never sound like this boy!
I love this photo & it really looks very atmospheric ! I just love to hear the sound of jazz on a summers day I would have given them something in their box any day ! I never learnt an instrument when I was young but I think it's a great talent to have !
What a fantastic photo! This shot really has a groove going. Those shoes are a great little pop for the composition. Wonderfully photographed! Love it!
I'm surprised the accordion player is wearing a long sleeved shots as the weather today has been 'phew what a scorcher' headline making !!!
I wish i could say i liked the footwear
