Only if we mean monsoon season. Monty and I got well and truly caught out this afternoon. I grabbed a few shots and then my camera started playing up - the exposure was all over and I was worrying about water damage.
On the subject of weather - fingers crossed for our friends on the East Coast of the USA - hope you all stay safe and are damage free.
i do worry about the camera in the wet. so you did well to snaeak one in at all.
We had a wet grey start but sun struggled out very late in the afternoon. Gone again now.
@shanne Seems to be fine thanks - I think it was water on the detectors. But it wasn't enjoyable and I was just snapping anything really so I stopped - not worth the risk.
A beautiful B&W image, well done!
If Irene stays on course we get the 'eye' Sunday, some time. Hope to get some foul weather shots and test the K20's advertised weatherproofing!!
I like the dark and light shades on this shot. I do hope your camera is ok Judith. btw we could do with some of that rain here we haven;t had much at all every were is so dry
Oh my, looks like a true English day, but not really a typical Cambridge day I guess ;). Poor you for getting soaked, I did get accustomed to much more rain than I ever saw before in June and July... Rome was quite the contrast ;). Hope the sun shines again soon. I love the roughness of this shot!
