We had a lovely day today with my very old best school friend Monica and her family. After lunch Rachel took us out punting and we pulled over at the ice cream punt for Ben & Jerry's. As I looked over my shoulder at King's College I realised that it wouldn't be ice cream weather for long. The Chapel positively shone and although it isn't normally great taking the shot from the river I was lucky this couple was walking past and made the angle a bit more funky.
Thanks for the nice comments on my neighbour's car - somehow people have much fonder memories of old cars they've owned than modern models.
wow love this Judith, great contrast of sky and chapel. Nice to see the chapel from a different angle. The weather was very changeable today, it just coulnd't make it's mind up!
This chapel looks very impressive !!! Lovely angle to show the stone work off against the dark sky too ! Or is it granite.. could be as it looks so white !
beautifully seen Judith, love that sky, love the framing of the couple walking out of the frame...without the people the shot is just a college pic, with them it's got context, human interest and a sense of reality ..super :)
great pov for the beautiful kings building - this must be taken on the river? Love the foreboding sky. Got a feeling the nice blues are gunna be a thing of the past soon!! walked past golden crunchy leaves on the pavement yesterday! :o(
Off on my jollies so no commenting for a week !
wow, like cars, they don't make buildings like this anymore!
