Sadlly sometimes when you find the star it isn't Baby Jesus that's under it... I've rejected a couple of 'artistic' scenes in favour of this one which amused me this morning. I don't know what they're doing to the decorations but none of them looked enamoured to be working on a Sunday. I'm having a lot of fun with the new lens and a couple of others from this morning may well appear soon.
Three good things:
1. Headache much better - thanks so much for all of your good wishes. Time for the physio to un-knot my shoulder I think.
2. Adam's hockey tournament is on a knife edge - won one, lost one, drawn one, two to go - top two go through. May or may not be a good thing! I've been banned from going because he's nervous so...
3. Other mothers and their ability and willingness to text results from hockey tournaments.
Quite an unusual shot. He definitely doesn't look like baby jesus... Good too hear your headache is gone. Would love some physio for my back, too. Still getting used to breastfeeding...
@jannaellen It's not easy at first - and the back thing is horrible - I think they spend ages getting used to the extra weight and then can't cope when it's gone.
Love his casual nonchalance. He's taking full advantage of his perch while taking a break from his decorating duties. Fun shot!
So glad you are feeling some relief from that horrid headache, Judith. And good luck to Adam and his teammates with their remaining two games!
Yes tis coming...heard my first Festive songs in Morrisons this week i could only think fancy working through 6 weeks of those sounds, enough to drown in a butt of chardonnay...understand the hockey waiting, must be as bad as waiting for uni place invites...fingers crossed for all.
Love your gratitides every day - this one made me laught at loud. My son would ban me too - I so relate. And the other mothers saving you from death by curiosity - precious! This image is also amusing - yes, they look less than enthused.
@tsingtao Keep the faith - Medic responses are very slow! Rachel's friends were going crazy but in the end they arrived. And I've also heard that if you don't get offers pre-exams it's more straightforward getting offers once you've got good A'level results.
WooHoo! Big congratulations to Adam and his team!!! National Championships ~ that's major! Absolutely a place for moms to be, in person, cheering loudly!!
I like that you've captured that whiff of smoke. Quite amusing really. I think they're closing off the High Street in St Neots for a day to put up the lights!
Glad you're feeling better - it's all that photo taking that's doing it!
Oh Judith this is such a tonic I laughed loudly when I saw it!!!! Such a great catch with the smoke rising in a plume above him & outside one of my favourite shops too!!! He's probably on double time!!!!
Many congratulations to Adam & his team, so well done all of them!! Personally I don't know how you mums & dads stand cheering every week, I would be a nervous wreck!
