An eclectic collection on top of a houseboat. I'm uploading early as have half an hour to kill before the physio hopefully releases some of the knots in my shoulder. And then it's all systems go as I dash off to the accountants with the company books- I hate this time of year when I've handed over all the paperwork and then I immediately need something! Then it's off to shop for food before the opening of fridge, peering hopelessly inside and closing of fridge becomes too ridiculous.
Three good things:
1. Being able to go out safety - sending love to those 365ers who are in the way of conflict at the moment.
2. The leaves are all off - I like it when the garden fills with light and the branches have a rest (our magnolia always seems relieved) - and then I like it when they come back!
3. Impending relaxed shoulder....
These odds and ends make a colourful composition, well spotted. Hope your shoulder gets some relief, it was a while ago that you first injured it I think.
A great collection of goodies here & one of the things I love about house boats is their habit of storing stuff on top of their boats.
Do hope your physio works,,,sore bits are so draining as I know to my cost at the moment!! You have had yours ages & physios costs mount up too. I pay £30 for mine, bet you are dearer in the Cambridge area!
Love this comp and focus. I've been thinking of a new lens since you wrote about yours. Best of luck with your shoulder. I continue to have issues with my lower back which affect the sciatic nerves. Makes me depressed.
@quietpurplehaze I have had several (12 or 15) physical therapy sessions where the therapist has used a variety of modalities including heat and TENS. In addition, I now have a personal trainer who comes to my house three times a week and I do Pilates on my own. I'm hoping that this will make a difference, as the doctor says it should. Problem is that I have a desk job and the sitting is not good. Seriously thinking about quitting but would like to hang on at least until the end of next year.
@meisen325 Umm sitting is definitely not good. I used to have back problems, but they have practically disappeared over the years. It seems you have a good variety of therapies. Good luck, anyway! Oh, do you swim?
Someone has a great eclectic collection... I have some items I could contribute to their collection... I'm in the getting rid of stuff mode! So enjoy your three good things... hoping your shoulder is much improved after treatment!
Great "still life", but I'm really writing to appreciate your comment about being grateful for being safe and thinking of those who are in the midst of conflicts around the world. How good of you.
Fabulous eclectic still life composition! I believe I had a pastel flower pot, way back when, identical to the one on the left. :)
I do hope you find some relief to the nasty, nagging shoulder issues, Judith!! Life is always somewhat off kilter when body parts aren't cooperating no matter how we try to soldier on. Sending good thoughts your way!!
