This is where I'm going wrong - not enough kit. I thought I'd sorted a photo today as Nigel bathed a very muddy Monty but all of the photos are blurry. Mostly because Monty was trying to escape. So you have one of the official types from yesterday. Hard work being a photographer. I noticed on the news that there was a whole forest of them - I'm sort of surprised that the visit made the national news as it was fairly low key here - must have been the new fringe!
I am a bit snowed under with things at the moment but will get to your photos ASAP.
Three good things:
1. Lovely people commenting on both of my last two photos. I know Royals aren't everybody's cup of tea but it's a whole new photo op and at least these two want to be with each other! I notice I've recorded three Royal visits in my album so far - I'm going to have to get myself a Union Jack outfit and a fold out chair so I can stake out the best spot like the proper fans do!
2. Progress on a Christmas present dilemma.
3. A clean bathroom after the post-Monty carnage.
I looked at the crowd more than the Royals yesterday Judith to see if I could spot you!!!!! A pair of step ladders ha to be a must for all our Christmas lists this year!
I like how you have got just his face in focus! Can't think how you did this except with a vignette! I'm just starting to think about Xmas presents and have given up already!
Wow, I guess a ladder for looking over everyone else. Or you could just get there early with your chair and grab a front seat!!
I also looked for you in the news!
Can I just ask, did you get the zoomy effect in camera or in processing?
This guy is prepared for any obstacle to the perfect shot. As for me, I'll just take the shot that's available...spoken like the rank amateur that I am. Marvelous capture, Judith.
