A day of wild weather with big rain clouds being blown at a pace across the sky. This was just as well as I forgot to take my rain coat on the dog walk. We headed over to Parker's Piece as the trees there are vibrant yellow (soon to be past tense as they are blowing off rapidly) but the fabulous sunshine that was hitting them disappeared behind a cloud. It did peep over the top eventually permitting some nice backlit shots which may appear tomorrow. In the meantime I rather liked these resting leaves. I have an appointment with the ironing that didn't get done today but will comment later.
Three GT:
1. Watched my first indoor hockey game of the season.
2. Some apple crumbles in the freezer.
3. A man in Eastbourne has posted my birthday present (a second hand Fuji X100) - don't know how I'm going to wait until November to use it.
I like the sound of your birthday present...soon be November!!!
You always think of a good angle to take photos Judith....I would have likely walked past here & not seen the possibilities...your focus is spot on. An interesting wall, I was going to say brick work but looking closer I think it's woven fence.
Lovely Autumnal composition with the bike in the background. Hurrah - it didn't rain this morning and the walk provided an opportunity for the waterproof trousers and coat to dry out a little after the past few days!
