Still testing out the new camera so I allowed myself a swan shot. He came close so that he could have a good hiss at Monty while he was trying to get a quick drink.
Three GT:
1. A lovely new pirate play area on Jesus Green - seems to be finished but they seem to have abandoned the anti-dog fence which seems odd.
2. Nigel and Rachel off up North for a karate competition together.
3. A nice lie in because the new experimental extra-long half term is now underway :0)
@jgpittenger Oh yes - quite often I let him off the lead on the bridge crossing the river and he runs down the steps and waits for me to catch up with his hoops!
OOh this is really nice - love the sharp whites against the black.
I haven't gone to Finland yet - off week on Sunday. Been a bit quiet as completely down in the dumps...going from full on activity to hardly being able to move isn't fun at all! My lens has given up the ghost (and I smashed my 50mm) so shooting isn't inspiring me either! I managed a 20 minute run this morning before my thigh seized up again. At least we think we’ve worked out the root cause – we’re thinking a small muscle in my shoulder is causing all the seizure in my hip; probably caused by cycling!! We’re seeing progress but I’m frustrated I can’t get training and as the injuries are fairly serious I’m not sure if Ecuador is going to happen. (waaaaaaahhhh!) anyway I’m off to see my Mum later to take my mind off things!!
@sparkle That's totally rubbish - I know what it's like in our house when there's an injury - total misery. Don't give up on Ecuador yet - now you've got the cause (not intuitive that!) you may have the answer. Go mad and buy a lens and make yourself feel better!

A new camera? I'd say it's a keeper!
