A rather dismal day and most of my photos were spoilt by camera shake - a side-effect of having the dog in tow - but then without the dog I wouldn't have been out.
I ventured back into town to buy curtain lining which weighed a ton - I didn't stay for the Christmas lights switch on even though Cambridge City Council have gone mad this year and hired one quarter of 1981's Eurovision Song Contest winners and somebody who didn't win X-Factor.
Three GT:
1. Rafiki did not catch the mouse she was after in the shed and, therefore, has not left it in my bedroom.
2. Cloche hats
3. In the process of trying to get the back off my bike light to change the battery, Adam miraculously fixed it.
Magnificent chimneys & you would be so proud to own a chimney like that....love the way you caught the girls looking up!
Cloche hats are rather the thing...I have bought a sort of cloche hat from Lydias Saturday job shop...50% off. I tried it on & Harry thinks I look old.....was going to wear it to the London meet up with @padlock & co but can't go now. I might do a selfie when my hair has grown a bit!!
Yes I like this street, love the way you have captured these individuals looking up at the chimneys, one is wearing a safety helmet incase of falling bricks!! Great Cambridge shot, your forte. Fav
I know that street so well, love it... pointed my camera down there a couple of times! This is such a such a charming shot - love your processing! : ) fav
Wonderful architectural photo - but it works for me because of the two girls walking arm in arm - and most importantly, looking up at the spectacular chimneys.
This looks like a scene from a really nice romantic movie. Instant fav for me :). Love their casual stride, their arm-in-armness (is that a word ;)?) and their upwards glance.
I love the colours here and how amazing to capture these two without anyone else around to detract from the super image you have captured! You can almost hear them saying 'Wow!'
Got exactly the same shot as this, but instead of the 2 girls, there's a guy on a bike. Gonna have to find another one, now-Hmmph! Actually yours is better than mine, anyway, I prefer the faded look to the colours
