Who'd have thought that Selly Oak Sainsbury's would be the location of my shot for today. In fact I assumed that I would be using a filler as quite a bit of time was spent driving to and from Birmingham. We 'nipped' to Sainsbury's (I use the term loosely as it's the most complicated entrance and exit system I've ever encountered) for a quick lunch before heading back on to the motorway and by chance Santa was doing his shopping - a complete surprise because I always assumed that he shopped at Iceland.
3 GT:
1. The torrential rain fell only while I was stationary outside Rachel's house.
2. Thai takeaway for tea so no cooking.
3. The chicks are in the nest.
A great seasonal photo but I can't decide if Mr Snowman's scarf clashes or tones with Father Christmas's outfit. And now come on Judith it's not possible to NIP to any supermarket whatever its name. Thai takeaway - nice - we have roast pork and all the trimmings the only drawback being that yours truly is about to start the cooking.
So Christmas has started for you! There's nothing like having the family all together again is there? And it's a smashing shot, complete with it's "festive" frame!
Hahaha when Fiona mentioned having the family all together I took another glance in case this was Rachel,Nigel and Adam in their festive outfits. I realized my mistake as I think Rachel has dark hair! What a shot, nice of them to pose for you.
It's obviously festive Sunday in Sainsburys nationwide, there was much jolly-ness in our local one, along with choccy giveaways (greedily eaten) and christmas songs! Like how they have all posed for you in such good spirits!
LOL - very funny Judith! Are you pulling your crackers for jokes already ; ))
Great fun shot - we had carol singers at our Sainsburys - very festive... I was being a right Bah Humbug and playing demolition derby with my shopping trolley to get in and out as quickly as possible! : ))
Judith, nice touch with the post processing snowflakes, teddy bare and reindeer ...I'm a tad worried though that santa has lost a bit too much weight...maybe the stress of getting all those pressies ready ...oh and I think the snowman is melting a bit too :)
Hang on just one minute. I don't understand. Santa was at the Islington Children's Centres' Christmas party today - we saw him there with our own very eyes. He can't have been in Selly Oak Sainsburys. He can't!
Gosh yes what a thin snow man. I blame climate change. And this incessant drizzle that we have instead of snow. Hope you're feeding your hungry chicks well.
