And not a good shot because I was caught by Nigel and told off for tormenting a sick animal. Apparently those antlers will be too heavy for his sore neck. Another day spent curled up in his basket.
Lots of good things:
1. The turkey and trimmings have arrived.
2. The Christmas clean up (including my desk) has been performed (sadly the Christmas ironing and bed changes have not).
3. Rachel made the dinner.
4. I cycled to John Lewis in the wind on the off chance that they would have some Christmas plates left and they did - £2 each (and they're not plastic!)
5. Nigel carried them home in his back pack.
6. I don't have to go out in this hideous weather.
7 . More room in the bin - it was full of polystyrene packing things and I opened it just as an almighty gust of wind blew....
Your posts do make me chuckle, visions of polystyrene blowing around Cambridge! Poor Monty, but then who am I to talk? I think he likes the attention and he made sure he got it today with the kennel debar co. I love Monty and I am going to fav him.
So the neighbours have a yard full of polystyrene? I do love the dogs woebegone expression! Not very Christmassy but yours is sounding as if it will be great!a
Poor Monty! No 7 did make me chuckle. We have no polystyrene blowing about but a big tile fell off the roof onto the front hedge. (Ray says he doesn't think the rain will come in.)
He certainly does look very sorry for himself! My daughter took care of my heap of ironing when she arrived, so that's a job I didn't expect to get done this side of Christmas.
Great shot of Monty - we hope he feels better soon. Although he might still have the Kennels on his mind. Bertie reckons a turkey dinner should do the trick :) FAV
That is one evil stare and you deserve it. Poor monty. I hope he's better for Christmas. Poppy's paw has finally recovered enough to do a proper walk and now the weather is going to confound us.
Monty looks shrunk...poor little blighter & you have dressed him up too...got to laugh at that put on face! Seriously though I do hope he feels better soon...awful to have sick dogs. Tui is being very brave but has cost us £320 today!!
@happypat Oh dear!! First thing the vet did was ask if he's insured. Second thing was mention a specialist neurologist - we have the vet school hospital in Cambridge so there's lots of expertise but it comes at a whopping price. I'd like them to rule out something sinister quite quickly though.
What a good sport that Monty is. Though I believe I'm seeing some eyes rolling. Hope the boy starts to feel better very soon! Love your seven good things. :)
