Well it's a good job I took yesterday's photo yesterday (!) because there are huge hoardings over the railings now so that you can't see in to the May Ball. I did have a go at re-enacting the other shot I liked and there was a man standing right where I wanted to be - in the end he got the hint just in time for a student to come up and unlock his bike and wheel it away - how inconsiderate can you be?! ;0)
Three GT:
1. Quite a lot of jobs done.
2. Lots of girly chat in the house.
3. Rob the vet has extracted a huge grass seed from Monty's ear canal. I wish I could have taken a photo of the vet's waiting room - Monty had done a couple of dramatic squeals and when we came out there was a row of dogs with their chins on the floor!!
PS The Cambridge Satchel Company has been a very successful new venture - you may have seen the story on the Google Chrome adverts at the cinema.
Well everything in there that you require for a classic Cambridge shot.love that most of the bikes in the town seem to be of the rather old style, much more in keeping that a modern racer! The Cambridge Satchel Co....haven't they done well....I remember them first time round & you have to use them lots to get them to supple up! Lovely colours though...far nicer than the original brown! Another vets bill......tut tut Monty!
My Mum's cocker spaniel is always getting grass seeds in his ears and I found them for her on the internet - she didn't buy them, can't imagine why not!
This is so beautiful - the bike, the picturesque window, the flowers, just perfect! I remember seeing a man and a dog walking the stairs to the vet once and the dog which was quite big fighting so hard into the other direction that the man could hardly hold him - I suppose dogs have quite a good memory...
one of the teachers at school has the green one, i like them , I used to take a trendy 'river island' number to work, but decided I was just carrying junk in it, so now I just take my lunch box ...a rachels lunch coolbag (you should get one for your rachel) !
Aha, the home of the Cambridge satchels. I think they're really nice but couldn't be bothered with all the strapping and unstrapping. Give me a good magnetic clasp any day ..
So you probably know I still call by the site nearly everyday.....when this came up I knew it was yours and ...wow....the Cambridge satchel shop!! I have a red one bought for my birthday...so many people remark...esp the ladies at the supermarket tills! Wonderful photo as ever.....hope all is well with you apart from your seemingly endless visits to the vet!
