Depression Glass

Depression glass is clear or colored translucent glassware. It was distributed in Canada and the United States during the time of the Great Depression. Some food manufacturers and distributors wanted to put up an incentive to boost their sales, so they came up with the idea of including a piece of glassware in food boxes. My favorite is the pink glassware.
