I think it's getting ready to come out. I am amazed at how beautiful this is. It's very hard to photograph, this is the best I could do.

But isn't it amazing how it has gold on it? And so smooth and shiny. I think it's beginning to become clear and that's why we can see some brown.

@vickisfotos because a friend of mine who is an expert on this, says it's been way too long, and apparently the brown is not supposed to look like that. :( I thought it was supposed to turn black and then hatch. But maybe not that dark.
