Mystery Plant

Can anyone help me out? These are perennials that grow to be about 6'-7' tall. The flesh-colored seed pods start out as clusters of little white flowers. The leaves have a very unusual shape. Found in southern Michigan. I couldn't find these online anywhere. Help!
