Ugh -- I have SO many of these in my yard! The "ugh" is because of the juglone toxin that black walnuts (all parts of the tree) emit into the soil, which poisons many varieties of plants. I killed hundreds of dollars worth of plants trying to grow them under my black walnut before I understood what what going on. But yes, the squirrels are lucky.
