(Getting ready for the first day of school on Sept. 8 is a source of anguish - so many restrictions on me and my little kindergarteners. Found out yesterday I can't even hold hands or give hugs anymore!) :(

@aikiuser Thanks, Jenn! Our school is going overboard with precautions, which I don't think are necessary. I've always found it hard to comply with directives that don't make sense to me. Thanks for your thoughts! Hope you also stay safe!
it's so sad, julie. my s-i-l in philly has got to teach a class of 10-year-olds wearing a visor AND a mask, and is not allowed to get within two metres of any of them. i don't see how you teachers are supposed to do it. sending you all good thoughts and hoping it will go okay
@pistache Thank you, Clare! I appreciate that. I guess we teachers are all in the same boat. Somehow, that doesn't make it easier though. Hope your SIL does well with his class, and hopefully this will all be behind us SOON! :)
