The farm..draught

This is looking up from the river to the East facing part of Our house is amongst the tree's to the right of the photo... We are in the midst of a very severe drought .. and the cows are having to be feed all that hay and silage that was harvested just a matter of weeks ago.. A cyclone is forcasted over the next few day's so lets hope they are right..

Hoping you get the rain you need! The weather in my area (Florida, U.S.) has been wetter than usual. The weather around the US seems to be either feast or famine.

Cyclones might not be the answer - too much run-off! Nz is gearing itself for lots of wind and rain but OK down here- might have to tie patio chairs down!

Fabulous colours! I was surprised by how dry Waikato is when we passed through a few weeks ago. Much like last year.

Very dry around the place - the hills are almost glowing - hope for rain to get them green again.

@dide farmers were digging out dams to get to flowing water yesterday when we were over the back of beyond..

That does look very dry indeed, hope the long awaited rains arrive. Pity we can't send some over from our wettest year since records began!
