We have had a couple of day's of winter, This was the view from One Tree Hill/ Cornwall Park yesterday, and no I did not edit it to B&W this is a colour version, .. if you look real close you will see some autumn tree colour.. lets hope the sun returns soon.. The tall 'spark plug' looking building is Auckland tallest building the Sky Tower which has several restaurants , Hotels and Casino....

That sky is just what it's like here. So much rain! My husband is borrowing his boss's 4WD to get home in since the flooded road is closed to all but trucks and 4WDs.
My son is in Henderson and is loving the rain. He always has from a child. He hasn't experienced a flood yet like Christchurch so until then he is wrapped up warm out West
Lovely view of the Sky Tower....have stayed in the hotel underneath...exciting. A meal at the top going round was very thrilling so a fave for the memory Julz. My lot are looking forward to field days this week too.
Great shot, very atmospheric. Looks like the sky we had a few days ago, the good thing about the southern hemisphere though that even in winter, it isn't winter every day and the sun is shining again.
