Kahikatea's

Another shot from my little jaunt yesterday... just loved how the 1st light was coming through the mist/fog and shining through this lovely stand of our Native Kahikatea's ..( White Pine)..As the wood from this tree does not have any smell it was used for Butter boxes for exporting our wonderful butter.. it is not very durable for building as borer tends to damage it..
