Had a blast from the past yesterday when visiting the King Country Town of Otorahonga yesterday. The Men's Wear shop was just packed full of what ever you want and more.. things were jammed in tight and if it was not on the rack it would be in a box at the back and the owner ( with the hat) knew just where to put his hand on it.. even got your parcel wrapped in brown paper..
This looks a very original & interesting shop....I think we called into this town....would it be around the Waitomo caves somewhere? Didn't go in here though....did George treat himself?
Oops, mind wandered and pressed post before finishing my comment! I was going to say... great set of photos - I like the one of the shop name and the owner looks like a real character.
@happypat Yes very close to Waitomo Caves.. and where there is a Kiwi House ( bird that is).. @lyndemc He was and there is a brother as well but he was not here this day.. he has a banter going all the time and served about 3 people at a time.. @susanalena Hard to browse as everything was packed in so tight.. but very interesting..
