A Night at the Museum... by julzmaioro

A Night at the Museum...

Well actually part of the afternoon... Our Camera Club had free range of the local Museum, we were allowed to use tripods and flash ( I didn't).. There is a great collection.. I loved this little bedroom.. all these beautifully handmade christening gowns, and nighties.. just imagine doing that fine needle work all under candle light.. pleased we have moved on from the commodes..
This is really lovely in the Black! Glad you didn't use the flash - plenty of light here and everything is obvious! In some ways people are duplicating this look!

This is a really lovely view into the bedroom. I love the old hot water bottles sitting on the beautiful bedspread. Lovely detail in this image and so much to see.

Love these old rooms. The lighting certainly suits the topic.
Keri and I are going to Hamilton gardens on 23rd August if you want to join us there.

Nice shot. Looks very interesting. Shame we couldn't come along. Bloomin' girls' sports get in the way of everything!

How pretty. Love all the wood. Old wood polishes up so beautifully. We have a family christening gown that is linen and lace but it is so hard to iron! My daughter did not get her girls christened so Im not sure when , if ever, it will ne used again
