Uncle Jims Plums..

My Sister-in-law rang and said to come a pick some plums.. She has several tree's and they are just hanging like grapes.. These tree's were planted by Uncle Jim several years ago.. He was the Johnny Appleseed of the Plum world.. Every year at pruning time he would giveaway branches of the tree he had at his place and most grew ( except the ones he gave us) .. and they are very prolific fruiters,.. So lots of Jam and plum sauce on the agenda..

oh delicious looking... I wish we had an Uncle Jim. Joe planted me a plum tree a couple years ago and then last year it bore... a peach! I was so disappointed at its metamorphosis.
