This is a very impressive Stag Horn Fern or Platycerium. It is a Epiphyt and growing a huge stump in the garden of Alberton Homestead,

Stag Horn or Elk Horn are native to South America, Africa, SE Asia, Australia and New Guinea..
A great specimen - and a good photo to show it off too.

A very interesting & impresive fern. You generally wouldn't guess this was classed as a fern would you? It reminds me very much of stags horn so can see how it was named.
