This afternoon @dide and I went to have a look at the Kahikatea tree's that we thought may be under water at the moment .. We were not disappointed as we got there just as the golden light was hitting the hills behind them and casting beautiful colour in the water surrounding the tree's..
These tree's are a New Zealand native and sometimes called white pine and like swampy ground. Certainly got that at the moment..
@happypat Yes - and it seemed only a couple of minutes as the light changed so quickly and it was so exciting. It got cold really quickly and we had a beaut frost here this morning!
@dide Brian rang us tonight & said all he could see was white frost everywhere this morning as he looked out if the window so I know it's cold, better than the wet though! @julzmaioro
