Go Fly a Kite

Spent the day today with my younger two Granddaughter's and went for a tiki tour around the local area visiting the Lighthouse and beaches and then to the Regional Park and flew their kites.. Shay had made one at school so she was keen to give it a test run and I had also had the butterfly for a while just waiting for the right moment to give it a fly .... all was going well until Abby on the left .. said 'Oh Nana it's got loose'.... and off it drifted beyond the houses and tree's... we went down the road a short way and there it was sitting in the sheep paddock just waiting for us... very lucky...

That was lucky you got the kite back, it's quite hard flying kites, I've never managed it properly! A happy day!
