I was getting myself lined up to catch 'the' shot of Granddaughters doubles row down to the finnish line, when this guy came and stood right in front of me .. I think he would of been able to capture every single bead of sweat on their brows.. he was also sporting a very fancy vest that said ' Media'... Well I am quite happy with my 28-300 it is far easier to carry around...
GD and buddy got through to the semi finals tomorrow...
Ha - did you yell at him to get out of the way? With a lens that big, he could have set up camp in the carpark! Great results to get into the semifinals.
Baah !! men and their big equipment !! it does not mean that they can trample over us normal humans and sensible lenses !! Well done GD and buddy for getting through to the semi-finals -- Hope you had a good shot of the girls in spite of Mr Big Shot !!!!
That is quite the lens. Would absolutely love to have one, but budget restraints really do not allow one. But then, really - how often would I actually use it? (Lots, probably - LOL!
Want something like this - no. And people who have it think they can set up anywhere. Congrats on you Granddaughters placement. Hoping he find her in the finals next.
Gee whiz. A little common courtesy goes a long way. Just because he's big he doesn't have to be so inconsiderate. Glad your sweet girl is continuing to win!
Ooh hope you're going to have time to go & watch! Is it in Cambridge area again? This is the third big lens I have seen tonight! Wouldn't care to carry one of these around!
