Kariotahi Sunset..

I was in the area just on sunset tonight so I went down to the beach as it was looking like it could be a great sunset ... I just made it in time .. nice golden colour with some clouds to make it a bit more interesting ... Sunsets on the last day of August ...

Gorgeous evening light and the lone gull/wader is the crowning touch, pulling my eye away from the sun. Because the sun is partly hidden and the reflection has no burnt out highlights, I can cope with in the shot! Just this once! :-)
