B&W butterfly

This is another shot that I used for the FB challenge I did last week of 7 days of B&W.. It was a good exercise as it made you look at images that you would not normally convert to b&w... I was very surprised with this shot as the colours in the original were so strong.. ( red dahlia's and orange and black butterfly ) ..

this makes such a different shot when in black and white.You do see the shapes more. Personally I do prefer colour especially as this butterfly is such a strong colour.
