Today marks 6 years since we lost our beautiful daughter/Sister to the dreaded Breast cancer .. So to 'mark' the day we gathered at our local beach regardless of the weather and go for a long walk... It was very blustery and as the sand was blowing thought it was safer to leave my camera in the car .. so just cell phone shots.. The top right shot is myself, Farmer George GD Taryn, daughter Donna, Son Bryce and GD Kenna.. Alovely way to spend what is a sad day .. but together we are strong...
A very, very sad but heart warming day, Julia. So nice that you can spend it together as a family, remembering the good times. I love those footsteps in the sand and the shells in the form of a heart. Your daughter would be proud to see how you marked the day, together.
A wonderful collage. I liked the heart made from two worm shells and the cluster of togetherness footprints in the wet sand. The heart remembers what it has loved the best. She will forever be with you.
