One member of our party on our Chatham Island tour is a very keen 'Botonist' and has written a couple of books about local flora, she was usually first off the bus to go a check out what is hiding in the pastures, or around the rocks and sandunes...
We returned from our walk to the Little Stone Cottage and we saw Trish .. hugging the tree... she said she was measuring it .. but she really does love her tree's..
A lovely image and what an inspirational woman to be traveling with. She was also captured scaling an almost perpendicular area in a paddock, busily taking photos and identifying plant species. A fav for the image and the terrific botanist.
