Hoping she is safe and sound... I have been hearing a Cock Pheasant near our garden fence the last week or so but have just caught the odd glimpse of him .. I am thinking that he and Mrs P could have a nest nearby .. This afternoon I heard the flap of wings and then the twang of the fence wire.. worried it was one of the pheasants I went to investergate... by the time I got there they/or he/she had gone but there was a pile of feathers .. looks like it was Mrs P so hope she is all well.. and she is back on the nest looking after her eggs...
