The gardens in front of the Church on the Hill are looking very colourful at the moment so thought they deserved a stop and photo.. The rose has been growing over the 'Old Bus Stop' for 'ever' and is always the first rose that shows colour.. It is a heritage rose and found in many old gardens..
You do know the right angle to take a photo like this, Julia! Most churches are built on a hill - I suppose so everyone can see them. Never heard of this rose but will look out for it! fav
@maggiemae Thanks Maggie.. It is a lovely Church was a Methodist but now ran by a Japanese group .. The Rose is lovely and if you have the room worth planting but does need support ..
