Out of Lockdown came just in time for a special family day today as it is 8 years since the passing of our beautiful daughter. With level two coming into being during the week we were able to get together for lunch and a lovely day of memories.. from the left.. Farmer George, Donna (#1 daughter) Kerry (SIL) Me Taryn (#2 GD) Bryce (son) Kenna (#1GD) and Tau ( #1GD BF)
Here we are with all our lockdown hair and eyebrows.. Kylie would be laughing at the state of us .. she was always very well groomed ..
The loss is hard on anniversaries. Family help one another through it. I am so glad the Covid restrictions lifted a little in time for you to be together and this is a fun family shot.
@shutterbug49 very excited for 8am cut tomorrow morning.. and eyebrows etc tues... what a treat and Kenna did my nails yesterday... I will be a new woman..
I'm so glad you were able to be with your family for this day of remembrance. I wonder why there's no word in English for the anniversary date like there is in Japanese -- Meinichi. When someone leaves this world, their Meinichi becomes more important than their birthday. Loss of loved ones unexpectedly is so so hard. Take care of you and your heart through this time.
