Over the weekend we had the plane on the farm doing the fertilizer ready for the winter .. We have had a spell of very dry weather and are now hoping the rain comes pretty soon to wash the manure in and to bring on the growth ..
This is a Fletcher airplane a NZ made plane..that is very nippy and good for the job and takes off from a grass strip on the neighbours farm..
Great pics and very interesting happening to this city slicker. Strangely, I was born on a dairy farm, but all that ended when I was 7 1/2. I can remember a lot. I was thrilled to be allowed to go with Mum to muster the cows in the morning. Frost on the ground, bracing cold, then bring them in for Mum and Dad to hand milk them. Then off to school I would go, on my horse.
Strangely I associate this fertiliser spreading with you & @dide because watching this exercise made us late for meeting you both at Nicau cafe! Must be six years ago now when Finn was a baby.
