In for the Chop... by julzmaioro

In for the Chop...

Today @dide was able to visit after the Auckland area has been in level three lockdown.. Even though I only live 10 k's away our area was level two.. Dianne picked up my groceries and then volunteered to do the hibiscus trimming to save FG having to do it .. she made a very good job of it but will be no flowers for a while .. you can see yesterday's bloom that was soon to be loped off...
So green and lush. Glad you have a lovely view and that you had help... even though it will be awhile for more blooms.

I love this photo of your garden, and the wonderful view you have. So glad Dianne could come see you, she’s a fine pruner! Here we baby and nurse our hibiscus plants in pots to get flowers to bloom. It looks like where you live they are big and robust and beautiful, in the ground!

@louannwarren I was glad to catch up with Julz. Phone calls are not the same as a good old face to face chinwag.

You live in a lovely spot, always something to look at out there. What a great thing to have @dide close by too, all my family live a long way away.
