Light on the Taro Leaves...

We all know that shooting in the midday sun is very harsh lighting which was what we had to deal with as we were walking around the Water Gardens.. But I spotted this beautiful light striking the taro leaves and highlighting the colour and the beautiful dark veins .. Worth while being out in the hot mid day sun after all..

@happypat It is in the Lily family and it is grown in the Islands (Pacific) and eat the tubers as a veg and steam the meat in the leaves in the umu's ( like a Hangi) .. never tried it myself..
