The morning dawned pretty gloomy , with thick fog around. Mid morning improved with the sun coming out, but the rest of the day was pretty dull and chilly.
Thank goodness I had decided that I would make some soup with a bacon hock and lots of veg. So I also made some bread to go with it..
We are now warm and toasty from the inside out with a lovely fire as well..
