Travel from one country to another either means "planescape photos" . . . or photos of having just arrived at night. Here, restaurant at the William Tell restaurant. And in Switzerland (and in other parts of Europe), big dogs can come to dinner, and they set the tables outside with little lap blankets so you can stay warm while dining in nearly freezing weather.
@moonmtn -- the truth is that I was in Switzerland first, and then in New Orleans, but I was so crazy busy working in Switzerland that I'm posting these photos out of order. So sorry to cause confusion! I'm in Chicago for a few days and then going to Japan on Saturday for two weeks!
A very interesting collage and glimpse into the way others live. Here in Oz no dogs allowed anywhere where food is served, inside or out, and totally banned on all public transport and taxis. With the exception of assistance dogs, of course, they're allowed everywhere.
