Tulip Poplar Bloom by k9photo

Tulip Poplar Bloom

The tulip poplar is not actually a poplar tree but in the Liriodendron genus. The blooms are shaped like tulips and appear from May to June in Georgia. It is considered one of the tallest native American hardwoods.
So interesting and fabulous POV.

Lovely detail... I had no idea that this tree was a hardwood. It sure seems to be a very fast grower.
