The December word of the day inspired this composite created totally in Photoshop. I used a tutorial to mimic a starry sky for the background. It's not the most realistic starry sky but it was what I could create after several attempts. I tried to get brushes to create the candle flame and even a large shining star but I am just stymied by brushes in Photoshop. So I used an online candle flame image from candlelight-1-1143468.jpg and if anyone can point me to some good tutorials about brushes I would appreciate it.
Frankly, Katy - I would forget a starry sky! You can give the effect of a universe and us in very simple way. I just have to think of it before I can pass it on,..I'm sure you can too!
