AAh! Now, I've forgotten what i said. I love the low key, and lighting. I look at most posts on black and this is stunning. fav.

This one is my choice. I feel the lines of light work better in defining the shapes.

@ethelperry yes that is why i went back to it, but i enjoy the space around the objects in the other and it feels a bit looser

I think the only way out of this is to flip a coin.

@ethelperry or take more :)

Bah, ha, ha. I've run down battery, just trying to get verticals and horizontals to be sooc. So watch my eyes rolling to hear, "take more".

Great Morandi thing.

Like Ethel, I prefer this one for the same reasons. There is just enough light to allow us to see the beauty in the shapes of the objects you have chosen and the strips of light draw the eye in to make that further examination.

Great light

Lovely low key and your title makes it rather mysterious. Fav.

Great job on both shots- but I think this one is more like Morandi. I'd played with one picture, put it into high key, high contrast and loved the way it looked, but it doesn't look anything like Morandi! His paintings were monochromatic but still had all the nuances of shade and shape- which I think this version has over the other due to its blurriness.
