This was a practise shot for a self portrait with Victoria Canonet, I realise now I stuffed up a couple changing the settings when i had the wrong iso here, i guess you can try to be too clever , the camera knows what its doing so i am not sure what i was trying to do , but i hope i have at least one right!
Looking forward to the film shots, I'm already nervous I'm going to do it all wrong.
It's a bit spooky, you gave me a challenge I was thinking to give you! Both our partners don't feature in 365, though they're the fathers of our children :-) So I've got something else in mind, you usually have dark, moody colours, the deep greens, the blues. What about an image in pastel colours. If that is too sweet for you, then a white on white image.
I can do pastel, I will give it a try anyway
we are sympatico sharing a birthday!
but I would find the challenge I gave you impossible. for many reasons, I nearly said that when i was typing your challenge up, but backspaced it... I hope you like it though.
as to film yes I know the feeling, I have learnt a lot already studying up in anticipation, learn the sunny 16 rule and you wont go wrong, this guy explains it www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCbePKkivZ8
but Louis is right, this camera is very easy to use, you can set it and forget it, like a point and shoot, the focus is a bit hard to see at times but once you get used to it its ok. I havent done any film stuff for 30 years so its all new to me. one thing is that with digital you try to avoid burn out by over exposure whereas film you need to avoid underexposing or the blacks will not have any detail, thats what i have been reading anyway, the proof will be in the developed negatives!
