Lots of contrast! What sort of film did you use? Did you use a cloured filter on this, or is it the scan?

Very nice btw! :-)

I do love water shots and this one conveys the power of water so clearly. Lovely action, with strong textures and form. I also like your diagonal with the foreground rocks. and very straight horizon.

@chris667 it was tmax400 film about 10 years old, , but i have altered the black point in levels after scanning on this one, it needed it imo, i didnt do it to all of the shots but a couple have benefited. .

@kali66 Tilted works really well -- adds drama / dynamics (in my expert opinion, anyway, lol).

Film will always be the first love in photography, the smell of fixer etc. There is great detail and this is very well balanced in tones. Fav!

Love the action you captured here. It's almost tangible.

Do you shoot digital too? I am thinking maybe I should take the plunge and buy one.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but they just have too many buttons.

@chris667 hahaha yes i have been doing this project for 4 years on digital. what do you want to get out of digital?
January 17th, 2017
@kali66 I feel like it's a whole side to photography I know nothing about! I'm not sure really. I love the mystery of film, and latent images.
